Marilyn Lee Bowden was born January 20, 1953 to the late James and Josephine Lee. Marilyn departed this life on November 20th, 2021. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt to a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mailyn attended Chatham High School for two years and also Jordan Matthews for two years. She continued her education at Job Corp in Virginia for business administration. She was a former employee at Ramsuer Interlock for 28 years until they closed. She worked at Ramtex for two years, she worked at Sunrise Healthcare until retirement. She was a member of Unity Powerhouse Church under the leadership of the late Bishop William Goins.
Marilyn was a caring and loveable person to anyone she came in contact with. Besides being a comedian, she was the glue that held us together.
Marilyn was proceeded in death by: her mother and father, James and Josephine Lee; her brother, Pastor Gary Dennis Lee, and a sister Shelia G, Lee Burton.
She leaves to cherish her memories; daughter, Sonja Lee of the home, and her sons, Terry T. Lee (Meredeth) of Greensboro NC and Gary D. Lee of Greensboro NC.

Sisters: Mary Hemphill (Chester) Clemmons NC, Robin Lee Siler City NC, Sylivia Lee of Winston Salem NC;
Grandchildren: Measha M. Lee of the home, Gary D. Lee Jr, Amari D. Lee, Landyn K. Lee, Isaiah T. Lee, Braylon T. Lee, Laila G. Lee.
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
